Meet our team

Gavin qualified from Edinburgh in 1993, obtaining the class prize in orthodontics, and after a year of house jobs at the Edinburgh Dental hospital he worked for two years as a maxillofacial senior house officer…

Jane graduated in dentistry at University of Leeds in 1992 and has carried out Orthodontic treatments in General Practice since 2004. She completed a three year Masters Degree with distinction at the University of Glasgow in 2013, specialising in Orthodontics.

Gemma gained her Orthodontic Therapy qualification in 2016. She has also worked for 10 years as a dental nurse in general and specialist practice. Her gentle manner and dental knowledge put patients at ease.

Claire joined the team in 2015 and greets every patient with a warm, friendly welcome. Claire is our go to practice guru, who treats everyone with respect and kindness.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and friends and won’t say no to a spa day!

Steph joined the team in 2015 and is often found welcoming patients, taking your x-rays, 3d scans and photos for treatment planning. Outside of work she enjoys going on holiday and trying new places to eat.

Nicole joined the team in 2017. She supports the practice by working chair side and ensuring all patients enjoy their visits.
In her spare time, Nicole is kept busy by going on adventures with her two children!

Kayleigh joined the team in 2022 as our receptionist. She always greets patients with a friendly smile and making sure patients feel welcome at the practice.
Outside of work, she likes a nice quiet weekend watching movies (has to be a scary movie) and enjoys trying new places to eat.

Leah joined our team in January 2025, and is enjoying learning everything about dental nursing – especially orthodontics!
In her spare time, Leah enjoys spending time with friends and family, likes going to the gym and loves a holiday!

Mhairi joined the team at the start of 2024. She is often found chair side assisting our clinicians and also runs record clinics, taking x-rays, photos and 3D scans for treatment planning.
Outside of work, Mhairi loves horse riding and spending time with her little boy.
